Christ has risen, dear Ukraine.
Today is a big day. Even in spite of the holiday, bombs are still being dropped from the sky, ships are shelling our soldiers all night without stopping, and artillery does not stop. But I want every Ukrainian to think about values, whether at the front, at home, or in resettlement. The 60-day war has changed us all. I hope that everyone has come to understand that material things are nothing compared to the happiness of hugging loved ones, talking to children, and just enjoying the silence. We sincerely thank all those who are trying to help civilians evacuate from Mariupol and the Azovstal plant to the safe territory of Ukraine, not in words but in deeds. Thank you to those who are making every effort to bring those left behind, one-on-one with superior enemy forces, out of encirclement. And great honor to the brothers who laid down their lives for the security of the homeland and the world. On this great day, I call on the entire civilized world to do everything possible so that these soldiers who performed a superhuman feat in this abandoned city have the opportunity to tell everything to their relatives and to come to the graves of their brothers. And remember that at this time when you are sending Easter pictures and enjoying the truce, in Mariupol, the horde is throwing bombs on the heads of innocent children.
