In Brazil’s Sao Pedro municipality, thousands of fish were spotted floating dead on the surface of the Piracicaba River. According to local authorities, the deaths were likely caused by industrial waste that was dumped into a nearby connecting stream. Earlier on July 7, thousands of fish were found dead at the same location.
