This hour-long webinar covers how food labelling and safety testing can be incorporated into the product development process. Our lab scientist from the Leduc Food Processing Development Centre provides an overview on some basic food safety testing (pH, water activity, etc.) that food processors can use to focus on the safety, in addition to the quality, of their products. An inspector from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency will also discuss the changes to labelling requirements, format to nutrition facts tables, the do’s and don’ts of making product claims and more.
