After 39 years, Soldiers from US Army's Alpha Troop A, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, are finally honored for their Vietnam War Rescue Mission, which rescued and saved countless US Soldiers from Charlie Company C Cavalry, on March 26, 1970, during the Vietnam War, thanks to their Captain..., John B. Poindexter, and his six year effort to bring about the US Army and Presidential Unit Citation (by President Obama), this past October 20, 2009, in the Rose Garden, at the White House.
