A 3 day conference organized by a Vatican group began today. It addresses caring for those with serious or terminal illnesses. The Pontifical Academy for Life organized the online event. It aims to fight the rise in assisted suicide around the world. President of European Association for Palliative Care, Professor Christopher Ostgathe, joins to tell us more about this meeting and about the rise in assisted suicide laws around the world. In the online conference, Professor Ostgathe spoke on Wednesday in the opening session. He discusses more on his comments and his message. The president of the European Association for Palliative Care shares what he hopes comes out of this 3 day meeting and whether there is a way to end the rise in assisted suicide laws.
