I got assigned 100 shares of stock on an options trade that I was selling puts on. This video goes from the start to finish of this entire trade.
First I go into the actual selling of the puts on the stock and my strike price I would be assigned the shares at along with the expiration date.
Second I show the actual assignment of the shares notification I received at around 12:11 am last night.
3rd is what the shares look like in my Robinhood account and the average cost that they went in at and if the option premium does or does not get subtracted from the average cost of the shares.
