Overview of what we’re doing and why we’re doing it. Together with the help of a very skilled team at Yachting Sports we are restoring Coric - a 50-year-old Contessa 32. This is the journey of getting from nearly empty boat to a safe comfortable classic.
Coric had been stripped right back a few years ago and had a lot of work done to make the hull look great and I think this was the thing that we fell in love with.
We moved the boat to a shed on the Hamble in the middle of 2021 and we will be out in early 2022. There have been a million decisions to make, and this is that story. Ideally it will be of interest to anyone who knows and loves the Contessa or anyone who is thinking about a yacht restoration.
