PROFILES host Mickey Burns interviews four-time Olympic gold medalist and former world record holder in the backstroke Lenny Krayzelburg in this 10 minute episode teaser. Back when Krayzelburg was winning Olympic gold medals, he also served as the poster boy for the sport...paving the way for Michael Phelps who would soon follow. Krayzelburg was voted as "USA Swimmer of the Year" between 1997 and 2000. And in the late 90s he was named as one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People."

Lenny Krayzelberg grew up in Odessa in the then Soviet Union - he immigrated to America at the age 14 and immediately became one of the country's top swimming prospects. Today Lenny is an entrepreneur and has established several "Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy's" nationwide. His goal right from the start was to make swimming accessible to the masses. The latest edition to his franchise was recently opened in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.
