A follow up to my video about the Aria Distortion ADT-1. I finally traced the schematic, and it was definitely not something I expected! Turns out it was a DOD 250 clone with a Big Muff style tone circuit and an added op amp recovery stage.

So I added a switch to be able to go back and forth between the stock circuit and a pseudo DOD 250 mode. In this video I play through some tones back to back comparing the two circuits. Then, I compare the two modes against a RAT clone that I made, since the RAT and the DOD 250 are two of the most iconic hard clipping distortions from the 70s.
Hope you enjoy the video and please share your thoughts in the comment section!
