This is my story racing the 2024 Cape Epic. The Untamed African MTB Race. For sure the hardest, most brutal mountain bike race in the WORLD! This race is done in a 2 man team and requires lots of preparation to participate. I will take you along my full story of this race explaining my training and going over each of the 8 days of racing with my thoughts and best parts of each day. Watch us race the most technical and beautiful single track of the West Cape region, close to Cape Town as we battle for the General Classification against other riders from all over the world! We were able to complete the grueling 614km of mountain biking in 8 days, but did we reach our goals?
