Hassan Rouhani, the president of Iran, stressed that airstrikes against ISIS, and military training for Syrian fighters, is not a sufficient method for eliminating terrorism. Referencing the training of Syrian troops, Rouhani told Charlie Rose: "the way to combat terrorism, sir, is not for us to give birth to another terrorist group."
