STORYLINE:
A jackpot of 129 (m) million euros (176 (m) million US dollars) is up for grabs in Friday night''s "Euromillions" draw.
In Madrid on Friday morning, people were queuing up to buy a ticket that could change their life.
Customer Jose Luis Cano said that if he won, he would: "...give it to my children and grandchildren. My house is paid off and I don''t owe anything. But perhaps I would take a holiday which is always good."
Spain is one of the nine countries participating in "Euromillions".
The others are Austria, France, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Friday''s jackpot is a new record, as the last one was at 126 (m) million euros (172 (m) million US dollars), won by a woman from Majorca, Spain in May 2009.
