Front Porch Pickin, is a show that the Mountain Arts Center hosts on Friday nights. This showcases local bands and local talent in the community. The Black Powder Express is a bluegrass band from Salyersville, KY. They are performing their original song, "Old Moonshine" written and composed by lead singer, Toddie Preston. He is accompanied by Jason Preston (mandolin), Jarrod Howard (dobro), Dwayne Prater (rhythm guitar), Chandler Allen (banjo), and Andrea Preston (upright bass).
