When you read through this download you’ll find that there are many things that only take 5 minutes to work on. You don’t have to have 3 or 4 hours set aside- you can make a difference in your home, 5 minutes at a time.
This isn’t something I say to make you feel guilty for the times when you need a break and you just want to sit in silence- go ahead! Take your break, sit and do nothing for a few minutes-- that’s good for you.
What this is for is to give you an idea that you have time to work with.
To get away from the perfection standard of "I don’t have enough time to do it right, so I just won’t do it."
No! Done is better than perfect.
ANY step forward you make is still a step forward.
Stop setting the standard so high you can’t reach it.
Changing your home from chaos to calm happens 5 minutes at a time.
It’s my hope that you will download this PDF, read through it, and realize that you are capable of doing a lot of things with the time you have available.
And if you’re a mom of little ones-
One thing that helped me when the kids were little, was to work in the room they were in. Part of the difficulty in decluttering with little ones is that they always want to be around you.
So when I was in the midst of that, I would work where they were at.
If they were taking a bath, I would sort a drawer or shelf in the bathroom. Or I’d do a quick clean - you can wipe down the toilet or clean the sink, it doesn’t take very long.
When they were eating lunch I’d put things away and clean the counters.
Many times there are things we can do, but we don’t have a lot of time to work with. So, when you’re sitting in the car waiting for kids- clean up the car a little. Or go through your purse and toss the trash.
When you’re telling the kids to get their shoes on so you can head out the door- straighten the shoe shelf or wherever you store shoes.
