Courtenay Griffiths QC, then involved in the "Blood Diamond" trial in the Hague delivered the keynote speech at the launch of the BLD's Black Letter Law 2010 publication and Black History Month event. Introduction was by Segun Osuntokun, Partner at Berwin Leighton Paisner. The event was hosted in London by Magic Circle law firm, Freshfields. The publication and the event were the brainchild of Debo Nwauzu, the BLD founder.
