In another big jolt for the Congress party, veteran leader Kapil Sibal announced his exit from the grand old party and filed his nomination from the Rajya Sabha as an independent candidate in the presence of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. Sibal, who was part of the G-23, is now set to contest on a Samajwadi Party ticket. This latest exit comes days after Ashwani Kumar joined the BJP and patidar leader Hardik Patel quit the party.
