Royal Train arrives. the QUEEN & DUKE descend received by HON.HOWARD GREEN (Minister of Public Works) & MRS. GREEN. Mr. Green presents the Mayor of New Westminster (Mrs.E.C.WOOD & MR.WOOD) Queen & Duke arrive at Queens Park. Various people presented. They drive to the south entrance of Deas Island Tunnel and are received by the Premier of British Columbia HON W.A.C. BENNETT AND MRS. BENNET Mr. Bennett presents the Minister of Highways HON P.A.GAGLARDI & MRS. GAGLARDI and the Reeves if the Districts of Delta J.W.KIRKLAND ESQ. & RICHMOND J.STOLBERG ESQ and their wifes. Premier Speaks requesting Her Majesty to cut a ribbon formally opening the Deas Island Tunnel. Queen and Duke drive through tunnel.
