Georges Schmitt Randall is an Algerian pan-flautist who put out 19 known albums between 1975 and the early 2000s. This particular album (called "pastourelle") consists of a number of French and Germanic suites and pastourelles, hence the name of the album. Also included are some of Schmitt's own compositions, my favourite of which is track A6 - "Les Gardians". Also playing on this album is Albert Levy on organ and piano, Roland Dyens and Jean-Pierre Semarraro on guitar and Jean-Luc Ceddaha on Percussion.

German Record Series No. 2
In November, my family drove to Cologne, Germany in order to see the country, try out the ferry between Harwich and Hoek Van Holland, and for me and my little brother to have a crack at speaking German. Cologne turned out to be an incredible, vibrant city with loads to do, see and drink! On one particular day, we wound up buying stuff in the shopping precinct around Neumarkt, whereupon I ran into a used media shop. I had to be quick, so I picked up around 20 German language records that looked either good or private press-ish. None of these were on YouTube as of then, so I'm gonna fix that! All of them are albums, so it will take absolutely forever to get them all up, but it should be worth it and I hope y'all enjoy the music!
