The Returnees by Elizabeth Okoh tells the story of three individuals; Osayuki, Cynthia and Kian who have left London, a city they've lived in for the most of their lives to their home country Nigeria with a particular city, Lagos as their main destination. This book tells of their struggles as residents of Lagos and how they try to better their situation as well as learning new things and unlearning what they are used to.

The Returnees is a very interesting tale of friendship, love, betrayal, ambition and finding oneself. This is indeed a very interesting read so don't sleep on it, at all.
