Happy Navratri from my family to yours. It's the last day of Navratri and I thought I would end it on a sweet note by making #sweetmangogurma served with puri. No doubt mangos are #delightfullysweet, giving the gurma a nice floral flavor that will woo your taste buds. Chunks of mangos stewed in a molten liquor of brown sugar with complex flavors from sweet-smelling spices that you'll fall in love with. The warm aroma and earthy flavor from the parched jeera (cumin) and the delicate sweetness and aromatic fragrance from the anniseed (anise), with a distinct licorice taste. And finally, the cinnamon gives you a sweet, spicy and woody flavor that's pleasantly warm with no bitterness or strong taste. These spices coexist within the gurma giving this sweet dessert it's unique taste that you can't find elsewhere. #Gurmaandpuri goes great together, but you can also enjoy gurma with a hot roti...Thank you and enjoy.
