Enjoy the 1972 animated film JOURNEY BACK TO OZ in this recreated TV special that reinstates Milton Berle's interstitial sequences and SFM Holiday Network bumpers. Original sponsorship spot and commercial breaks have been replaced by contemporary Oz (and Oz adjacent) commercials from the 1970s for added Ozzy flare. The special as presented here is not representative of any one original airing but a fantasy presentation that combines elements for an optimally nostalgic and Ozzy viewing experience.

Starring Liza Minelli as Dorothy, Mickey Rooney as Scarecrow, Paul Lynde as Pumpkinhead, and Ethel Merman as Mombi the Witch. Featuring Margaret Hamilton as Aunt Em.

JOURNEY BACK TO OZ was released theatrically in the UK in 1972 and the US in 1974. It was first aired on television in the US in 1976. The Milton Berle hosting segments and bumpers were first used in 1980.
