Seetharama Lift Irrigation project works are continuing on a fast track basis

- The project designed to lift the Godavari water from upper
Dummugudem dam
- The project designed with 5 pumping stations and 4 balancing
reservoirs.
- This project will draw 9000 cusecs of water from Godavari river.
- The project will supply irrigation water for 6.74 lakh acres in
Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Mahaboobabad districts.
- Head regulator construction has taken up at Dummugudem dam.
- Project designed to utilise 70.40 TMC of water through approach
channel
- Approach channel is one and a half times larger than the required
level.
