This video series consists of walkthrough gameplay of GTA V next Gen console version (PS5) in Fidelity mode , 4K-HDR (HDR display required).

GTA 5 PS5 and Xbox Series X has officially been released, bringing an 'expanded and enhanced' version of the hugely popular Grand Theft Auto 5 to the latest generation of consoles.

Having originally released on Xbox 360 and PS3, GTA 5 is now around nine years old but this new version of the game and its online counterpart, GTA Online, makes the most of the power of the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

What do the most powerful consoles on the market allow for? Well, you can expect new graphics modes (three in total), HDR options, ray-tracing, faster load times, 3D audio, and more. If that's enough to tempt you to make the jump from Xbox One and PS4, then you'll also be pleased to know that you can transfer your existing saves so that you're not starting from scratch all over again.

Different Modes:

The first mode is Fidelity Mode, which is “tuned for the highest visual quality”. In this mode, PS5 and Xbox Series X players get native 4K resolution and ray-tracing at 30 FPS, while Xbox Series S players get the same but with upscaled 4K resolution, rather than native.

Performance Mode is for those looking for “the most responsive gameplay experience”. It targets 60 FPS, with support for upscaled 4K resolution on PS5 and Xbox Series X, with 1080p resolution for the Series S.

Finally, the PS5 and Xbox Series X boast Performance RT mode. This is a hybrid of Performance and Fidelity modes, “supporting upscaled 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled and targeting 60 FPS.”


Grand Theft Auto 5 is a action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. Set within the fictional state of San Andreas, based on Southern California, the single-player story follows three protagonists. Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, and Trevor Philips. The open world design lets players freely roam San Andreas' open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos, based on Los Angeles. The game is played from either a third-person or first-person perspective, and its world is navigated on foot and by vehicle. Players control the three lead protagonists throughout single-player and switch among them, both during and outside missions.
