This video is a bit different than my normal video as I went on a backcountry camping trip and I wanted to share it with all of you. Originally I planned on going with my miniature schnauzer, Rivet, but at the last minute I changed my mind due to the heat wave we were having. It was over 35C each day, and felt like 40C (104F) with the humidity. I stayed at campsites on Birch Lake and Lynch Lake. I ended up cutting the trip one day short because it was just too hot and I wanted to get home and have a nice cold beer. On the last day I stopped at the spot I had booked, had a little swim and headed to the parking lot. Overall it was a good trip and it serves to put some perspective on things that we often take for granted, like access to running water and air conditioning.
