India's Longest River Ropeway | Place to visit in Guwahati | Assam | Northeast India |

India's longest "Ropeway over a river" on mighty river Brahmaputra which is a 1.82km long Bi-cable ropeway that connects Kachari Ghat on the southern bank in the main city to North Guwahati.

It provides a breathtaking view of the mighty Brahmaputra and will catch a glimpse of Umananda Temple on Peacock island (the smallest river island in India).
It is an 8-9 minutes ride, which earlier used to take more than an hour.
