Ubirr is a sacred Aboriginal site located in Kakadu National Park, in the far north eastern corner at the edge of Arnhem Land. We went here straight after checking out the crocs at Cahills Crossing which is just a few minutes away. Unfortunately we weren't here for sunset, as this would have been absolutely magical, and probably a bit cooler too! But it was still awesome to visit such a special and spectacular place, and to look back in time at the rock art the has been there as part of the aboriginal culture for thousands of years
