Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Boat Buckle Quick Lock Transom Tie Down Straps. They come in a quantity of two, in three different sizes. Secure your boat safety and easily to your trailer with the Boat Buckle Quick Lock Transom Tie Downs. They feature a safe working load limit of 400 pounds and a maximum break strength of 1,200 pounds. It's easy to operate with just one hand. As easy as they are to release, they're just as easy to secure. Simply pull down on the tightening strap for a little bit of tension and the buckle does the rest.
Then the excess, we can just bundle up with our hook and loop. The S-hook at the top is rubber coated to prevent damage to your boat. The S-hook at the bottom is zinc plated to resist rust and corrosion. The flap here at the rear prevents the buckle from making contact with your boat. The strap itself is a durable polypropylene.
It's flexible and weather resistant.Compared to the Erickson inboard/outboard transom tie downs these do not have a rubber coating. That means two things. You won't have as much protection as you would with the rubber coating, but you also don't have to worry about the rubber coating coming off and the hooks rusting and corroding. The Boat Buckle has a higher weight limit of 333 pounds versus the Erickson that has 300 pounds.Compared to a standard cam buckle, the Quick Lock design is going to maintain better tension on your strap. Now Mike works with our customers.
Mike, what are customers wanting to know about transom tie downs The biggest question we get about transom tie downs is if they are required. Well now, they're always good to have because they can prevent your boat from bouncing up and down on your trailer when you're going over bumps. As far as whether or not you need them, you want to check with your local laws.So what are some other questions that they're asking Another important question that some of my customers have asked me before is if this zinc coating is going to be good for saltwater or if it's best to use this for freshwater Well, it's not going to stand up as good as stainless steel does, but if they give it a good rinse afterwards then I think it'll be okay. So those are pretty much the common questions we get on transom tie downs. All right.
Cool. Thanks a lot. Thank you. And that's going to complete our look. The Boat Buckle Quick Lock Transom Tie Down Straps.
