For Stuffing:
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Jeera whole - 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Peanuts Boiled and roughly chopped - 1 cup
Garam Masala - 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
Jeera Powder - 1 Tsp
Salt to Taste
Chat Masala - 1/2 Tsp
Lemon Juice - 1/2 Tsp
For Potato Layer:
Potato Boiled - 4 Nos.
Jeera Powder - 1 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
salt to Taste
Garam Masala - 1/2 Tsp
Potato Starch - 1/4 cup
Oil to fry bhallas
For Date- Tamarind Chutney:
Water - 1 Ltr.
Tamarind - 1/4 Cup
Dates - 15 Nos.
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
Jeera Powder - 1 Tsp
salt to taste
For Green Chutney:
Coriander - 1 Cup
Mint Leaves - 1/4 Cup
Green Chilli - 3 Nos.
Ginger - Small piece
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice to taste
Ice cubes - 5 Nos.
Water - 1 Tbsp
Sweet Curd:
Yogurt - 1 Cup
Sugar - 1/4 Cup
Water as needed
Direction:
To start with Heat Oil For Stuffing on Medium Heat and add Jeera, Turmeric Powder, Peanuts, Garam Masala, Red Chilli Powder, Jira Powder, Salt to Taste, Chat Masala, Lemon Juice and Mix Well, Keep It aside to cool Meanwhile To make outer Layer of Bhalla Mash Potatoes and add all ingredients for Potato layers and mix well , roll Potato mixture by hand making small puri out of it add stuffing in it and make bhallas and fry them on medium heat till golden brown, keep them aside, now boil dates and tamarind in water , add all ingredients for chutney, cool it and grind it to make chutney now to make green chutney grind all chutney ingredients and keep the chutney aside now to make sweet curd mix yogurt and sugar and make sweet curd add water if needed to make bit runny consistency now to assemble everything put bhallas on plate, add green chutney, date - tamarind chutney, sweet curd, peanut stuffing and at last garnish with chopped coriander , Dahi bhalla chat is ready to serve..........
