SpaceX successfully launched 20 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral. Thirteen of these satellites are equipped with "Direct to Cell" capabilities, designed to improve global connectivity. The launch took place on Friday, October 18 at 7:31 pm ET, and after about 8.5 minutes, the Falcon 9’s first stage booster made a perfect landing on the SpaceX drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. This mission marked the 17th flight and landing of this Falcon 9 booster, which had previously supported various missions. The satellite deployment into low Earth orbit is expected about 64 minutes after liftoff. The autonomous droneship helps retrieve boosters after high-velocity launches, adding to SpaceX’s reusable tech game.
