Join us in finding out just how Argentina, Chubut Province, Puerto Madryn y La Peninsula de Valdes are such special places and are home to some of South America's most incredible, most interesting and most impressive wildlife!
Less than a two-hour, $70 flight from the capitol of Buenos Aires, we got to explore Puerto Madryn for five days and saw more than we could ever have imagined.
From the desert to the ocean, the rugged coast to the rocky beaches, Puerto Madryn y la Peninsula de Valdes blew us away with
Orcas, Southern Right Whales, Chilean Flamingos, Dwarf Hairy Armadillos, Guanacos, Elephant Seals, Kelp Geese, South American Sea Lions, Patagonian Gray Foxes, Imperial Cormorants, Magellanic Penguins, Variable Hawks, Elegant-Crested Tinamou's and even Tarantulas!
Even in the off-season Puerto Madryn y La Peninsula de Valdes is simply surrounded by wildlife and we know we will be back with an even more detailed travel and adventure itinerary during the dolphin and porpoise seasons, Killer Whale beaching attack season, sea lion dive season and much more.
This wildlife photography excursion in Argentina marks just one of many more we can't wait to share as we are living here in Argentina exploring this wild place.
