The change is on East Jefferson Street from Brook Street to Baxter Avenue in NuLu.
Crews will open the road to eastbound traffic Sunday morning.
Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg said the change will make East Jefferson Street safer for both drivers and pedestrians.
