In this episode of DJs BrewTube, I review another stout ,Samuel Adams Nitro Coffee Stout. Three things that I really like are beer, coffee and chocolate. Samuel Adams Nitro Coffee Stout is an American Stout with coffee added that clocks in at 5.8% ABV and is packaged in a special Nitro can with a widget. Samuel Adams Nitro Coffee Stout is described by the brewery as follows:

"Our Nitro Coffee Stout is darkly enticing with its smooth, velvety cream that cascades into a jet black brew revealing a rich, robust character. The dark roasted malts create notes of bittersweet chocolate with hints of dark fruit while the Sumatran & Indian Monsoon Malabar coffees develop a deep roasted dimension. For a deeper, yet smooth, flavor we steep the coffee beans in cold water to create an extraction that we add to this stout "

This all sounds pretty freaking awesome. Lets see if Samuel Adams Nitro Coffee Stout delivers what the prose promises. Enjoy the show! Written review follows:

Samuel Adams Nitro Coffee Stout WRITTEN REVIEW:

A: Samuel Adams Nitro Coffee Stout pours pitch black with an off-white 1.5 finger Nitro cascading super creamy head after the hard or crash pour. No alcohol legs and excellent glass lacing.

S: Rich black coffee, dark chocolate, some faint dark fruit, vanilla and a slight nuttiness rounded out by malt sweetness. No alcohol is detectable in the aroma. YUM!!

T: Follows the nose with rich coffee upfront some vanilla and dark chocolate in the middle with a faint nutty like finish and some dark fruits. All this is tempered by just the right amount of counter balancing sweetness. No alcohol is detectable in the taste.

M: SUPER SILKY SMOOTH........ Easy to drink. Medium body. Dangerously drinkable beer.....

O: Samuel Adams Nitro Coffee Stout is a very well made nitro beer and is one of the better ones that I have had to date. Its packs nice rich flavor and the spot on nitro package rounds out the flavor profile nicely. This is a quality beer that I will drink again and would purchase in 4 pack quantities without hesitation.
