Today I am playing MAZAS ETUDE NO.10 Op.36
This etude is one of the most difficult violin etudes from Etudes Spéciales op.36 and suprisingly does not look like one. Mazas Etude No.10 op.36 requites a lot of work from your bow hand index finger in order to achieve a very crisp staccato. Allegro non troppo tempo of Mazas Etude no. 10 op.36 makes it extra difficult. I would suggest to play most of the short notes in the upper half of the bow, it will help a lot to have a clean string changes.
