In this segment of From the Vaults in RBSCD, Stephanie Stillo continues to explore treasures from the Aramont Library. In particular we explore a 1953 edition of the The Eclogues (also called the Bucolics) of Roman poet Virgil. This particular edition was translated by French poet Paul Valery and illustrated with original color lithographs by cubist artists, Jacques Villon (brother of Marcel Duchamp).
