Turn on gauge, press probe CAL
Display will show velocity setting
Press PROBE ZERO to reset it to factory setting of steel (.2330/us)
Press CAL to exit
Measure battery cap, press PROBE ZERO key while you have a good reading and display should show Prb0 (PROBE ZERO) and the reading should be between 0.412 - 0.416 inches.
