The best EDC is a very personal decision. The best EDC is what works best for you and what you will carry all the time. For me, the @Glock, Inc. 30S with the SF grip module in 45ACP is climbing high on the EDC finalist list. What an awesome carry pistol. What are your thoughts on it?
