Gobi Manchurian is a popular Indo-Chinese recipe. This can be a good alternative to veg Manchurian. This is a quick and easy recipe. It tastes just awesome and can be served as a starter. It turns out crispy and doesn’t require many efforts. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• Cauliflower florets
• 1 tbsp Salt
• Red chili powder
• Salt
• 1~2 tsp Maida
• 1/4 cup Maida
• 1/4 cup Corn flour
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper powder
• Water
• Oil for frying
• 2 tsp Oil
• Finely chopped Garlic
• Finely chopped Ginger
• Finely chopped Onion
• Slit Green chilies
• 1/2 tsp Soya sauce
• 1 tbsp Schezwan sauce
• 1 tbsp Tomato sauce
• 1 tsp Corn flour
• Water
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
• Add salt and water on florets and soak it in salty water for about 10 minutes.
• Drain all the water and wash cauliflower well.
• Transfer the florets into a bowl and sprinkle red chili powder, salt.
• Toss the florets well with spices.
• Sprinkle maida and toss it well again.
• In another bowl take maida, corn flour, salt, black pepper powder.
• Add a little water at a time and make thick batter.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Coat the cauliflower florets well with batter and transfer them into hot oil.
• Fry it well until it gets nice golden color from all sides.
• When the gobi Manchurian turn crispy and get nice golden color from all sides, take them out
and transfer into a dish.
• Heat up oil in another pan.
• Add garlic, ginger and fry for about 30 seconds.
• Add onion and fry for about 1-2 minutes.
• You can add capsicum, carrot, green beans of you want.
• Add green chilies and mix well.
• Add soya sauce, schezwan sauce, tomato sauce and mix well.
• Take corn flour in a bowl and add water to make slurry.
• Add the slurry into the sauce and mix well.
• Add water to adjust consistency and mix well.
• Add the fried Manchurian and toss well with the sauce.
• Gobi Manchurian is all ready.
• Garnish with coriander leaves. You can add spring onion too.
