In this video, I am discussing what I think is likely to become law, either through federal legislation or federal regulations, regarding independent contractors. The Biden Administration is making a big push in labor regulation and has taken a number of common and not-so-common steps to start pushing a labor-friendly legislative and regulatory agenda. One of those steps would be to implement the ABC Test for determining if a worker can be an independent contractor or if they have to be classified as an employee. It is a significant change in the law as the ABC test is the most stringent of all the multi-factor tests used by federal and state agencies.
