This is a teardown of the FRAM XG9972 Ultra Synthetic Cartridge Oil Filter. I used this oil filter for my Toyota Avalon during my last oil change video. I wanted to see how the FRAM oil filter held up or if it fell apart. This oil filter is rated to last 20,000 miles. I put off doing an oil change to make sure this test is a valid one!
