An Egyptian police officer opened fire on tourists in Alexandria, killing at least two Israeli tourists and one Egyptian national.
According to a local news channel, the suspect was detained following the shooting.
The shooting comes a day after Palestinian fighters launched a surprise attack on Israel, followed by Israeli air strikes on Gaza.
