After trying direct advocacy for Ugandans to buy locally manufactured products, the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) is now trying to engage Government into proactively consuming locally manufactured products. According to the UMA Executive Director Mohammed Sebagala such a move would boost local manufacturing since government is a big consumer. Samuel Ssettumba reports.
