Whats truly longed for is the end of seeking. The end of a separate subject relating to an object. That is called maya. Seeking for something else is the way of the "I" or "Ego" to validate itself. Its an endless trying to grasp and know truth. But there is no truths outside of Brahman. And Brahman is already everything. Without anything outside of it to be able to know it. In that sense there cant be a knower of Brahman, there could be only being Brahman. Every personal knowing is from the mind, which doesnt really exist. Only in the dream. Pure being is essentially non dual. Advaita = Not two.
