Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda votes in the first round of the country's presidential election following a campaign dominated by defence issues as Vilnius seeks to strengthen its security in the face of neighbouring Russia. The polls give Nauseda, a 59-year-old former banker, a comfortable lead over the seven other candidates, who include Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte and a well-known lawyer, Ignas Vegele.
