Several regions across Illinois are now seeing loosened COVID-19 restrictions.
This comes after the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) adjusted its mitigation metrics. The state is launching multiple healthcare staffing contracts to increase hospital staffing, so the metrics were adjusted to reflect the additional staff.
