James Mao has learned Martial Arts from more than 45 years. He started to learn Chinese Martial Arts at 12 then Crane Fist, Taekwondo, Karate until he retired from Military Two Years Obligation service. He was authorized to be black duan of Karate and earned Group Championship at Karate ZhongZheng Cup 1982-83, personal award the Third Place. After the met Master Julian Chu in 1998 and learned with hime Tai Chi for almost 10 years. Master Julian Chu granted him to teach from 2007 to now. He continued to study internal Martial Arts Xing Yi, Ba Gua with many masters in Taiwan and mainland China.
