Asheville NC is called "San Francisco of the East" - and for good reason! We had such a wacky, crazy, fun day exploring Asheville with kids. We started our day at Zebulon Vance Birthplace, who was a Confederate Civil War General and Governor of North Carolina. The grounds were beautiful and the kids learned so much about growing up in the hills of NC. We went downtown to grab lunch and stumbled across the lively LEAF AVL Downtown festival, with craft beer, live music, and activities for the kids. We finished our unexpected day at Pack's Tavern listening to live music (yet again!). The whole family had such a fun time in Asheville NC, you gotta check it out!
