Not only aquariums and goldfish but also the entire venue will be used to create beauty. Traditional Japanese culture and goldfish are in harmony, creating a relaxing space that will make you forget the hustle and bustle of modern times. Hyakka Ryoran Replace flowers with flowers. Ginza Mantoro
A quiet space surrounded by subtle lights. The many-tiered hanging lanterns, reminiscent of the many lanterns of Kasuga Taisha Shrine in Nara, are historical items that the museum independently collected.
Goldfish corridor
When you step into the colonnade of goldfish standing in a row, there is an infinite space. If you look down from the table decorated with Japanese patterns, you can also see the downward spatial expansion. This is a space-type work that expresses the corridors seen in temple and shrine architecture.
Goldfish collection
We are exhibiting each type like an art gallery, focusing on rare breeds that you don't usually see. Along with the lighting effects, the goldfish can be seen from various angles.
goldfish display cabinet
Edo Kiriko, a traditional Japanese craft, with goldfish swimming in it, and bonsai, a traditional Japanese culture, are displayed on the shelf. Edo Kiriko works by Kosyo Nemoto, and bonsai works by bonsai master Masashi Hirao.
Goldfish waterfall
A multi-layered wall of water undulating in a faint light. The quietly flowing water is just a Goldfish waterfall. If you go behind the falling water, you can see the goldfish dancing in front of you.
Shojirium
A work with a motif of Yukimi Shoji, where you can enjoy the changing seasons in the garden from inside. I was inspired by the lower atrium shoji in the tea room "Bosenseki" at the sub-temple of Daitoku-ji Temple in Kyoto. You can enjoy looking into the world of goldfish spreading through the shoji.
A Show of Kingyo [New Version]
A goldfish swims gracefully and leisurely in a low square tank. This is a work that allows you to appreciate the goldfish peeking out to the surface of the water from above. The side decoration uses a kimono belt. An eternal world spreads out where you can feel the infinite possibilities of goldfish.
Origamirium
An exceptionally large goldfish bowl in which many goldfish swim. This is a new work inspired by the beautiful Japanese tradition of origami. The background is also decorated with origami goldfish.
Teitourium
It is a work with the motif of "Matsuri Toro", which is traditional Japanese lighting. The sphere also acts as a magnifying lens, making the goldfish appear larger. The lanterns lined up in a quiet space remind us of the approach to the shrine after the festival.
goldfish bamboo forest
Countless goldfish are dancing wildly in the pillars of water and light bubbles that line up. A special space that combines the silence of being in a bamboo forest with the beauty of gracefully swimming goldfish is enveloped in light.
Flowerium
As the first attempt at ART AQUARIUM, a collaboration project with flower arrangement artist Shogo Kariyazaki was created. World-class Japanese art, goldfish and ikebana. By layering, the gorgeousness becomes more attractive.
shop
In order to bring back memories of ART AQUARIUM MUSEUM GINZA, we have prepared original goldfish goods that can only be purchased here, including collaboration products with long-established stores that represent Japan.
photo booth
Goldfish that match their movements swim in a transparent organic EL display. Let's record a dance video with goldfish while using a smartphone stand or having a friend shoot.
