San Jose chiropractor Dr. William Holdsworth DC from Pain Relief Chiropractic explains how the time you go to bed can decrease your likelihood of being active the following day. An examination of the sleeping habits and physical activity of 134 overweight/obese youths found that those who went to bed later, even if they slept the same total number of hours, tended to perform less moderate-to-vigorous physical activity the following day. The results suggest an earlier bed time would benefit children who struggle to maintain a healthy weight.
