coming into this round, it was SO hard to not only find a song, but to find a story because we weren’t sure what portrayed us best and what we could do that differentiates us from not only the other acts, but from our other pieces. SO, we chose a deep song that was about sadness and pain. bishop briggs said “you’ll never be able to relate to the pain of what this industry and going after something creative entails.” in the beginning, there was “water” on the ground and it’s the last bit of water we have, yet it disappears and we find so much pain in that. and the rain represented the new door of finding new ways and new opportunities to be creative and know that it’s okay when something goes wrong. just use that pain to motivate you in finding a new way, such as the rain. hope you enjoy:)
