I spent the night on top of Spencer's Butte to capture the Geminid Meteor Shower using a fish-eye lens attached to the Canon EOS-M3. It was spectacular!
The video starts with a slide show of the best meteors, followed by a time lapse of the entire night. It's fascinating to watch the constellation Orion moving across the frame throughout the night. Quite a few bright meteors streak through and around Orion.
The highlight of the night is a huge fireball that streaked towards the crescent Moon around 6am. This is the first photo of the video.
